Park Location

Software Technology Park (STP) was initiated by UPSIDC at its head office building at Kanpur by way of providing space of 13000 sq.ft to prospective entrepreneurs for developing IT units/ IT enabled services.

Objective & Facilities

It is proposed to promot young engineers / technicians for developing Software, Call center, Data Processing work etc.To support STP, Software Technology Park of India (STPI) an autonomous body of GOI has established Earth Station for 256 kbps bandwidth along with incubation facilities in same building. There is provision of AC & other central facilities along with power backup.

Current Status

15 units are functioning on 9296 sq.ft.area for software development/call center / data processing/medical transcription and multimedia. The park is fully operational.
