UPSIDC is setting up two Apparel Parks at Tronica City, Distt. Ghaziabad & at Rooma, Distt. Kanpur.

1. Apparel Park, Tronica City, Ghaziabad

Park Location

This Project is being developed on 145 acres of land at the cost of Rs. 5329.28 Lacs. It is located on Delhi-Saharanpur State Highway just 12 km. from I.S.B.T. Delhi.

Objective & Facilities

In this park, it is proposed to set up facilities like Training Centre, Fashion Design Centre, Tool Room Centre, Quality Control Lab, CETP, etc for Textile units in the area.

Current Status

Site Development, Road, Drain & Culverts Network, Internal & External Electrification & Police out post, Construction of R.C.C. overhead tank and water distribution pipeline work have been completed.

• Captive Power plant shall be commissioned shortly.
• CETP has been set up.
• Administrative building construction shall be completed.

2. Textile & Hosiery Park, Rooma, Kanpur

Park Location

It is being developed at Rooma, Kanpur on 174 acres of land at a cost of Rs. 2613.14 lacs. The area is situated on National Highway No-2 (Kanpur- Allahabad Section).

In this park, it is proposed to set up facilities like Training Centre, Fashion Design Centre, Tool Room Centre, Quality Control Lab, CETP, for Textile units in the area.

Current Status

• Site Development, Road, Drain & Culverts Network, Internal & External Electrification & Police out post, Construction of R.C.C. overhead tank and water distribution pipe line work have been completed .
• Common effluent treatment plant construction has been completed.
• Administrative building has been completed.

All plots have been allotted.Out of 265 plots developed for Polluting and Nonpolluting Units, 11 units are under construction.
